The Contact Centre, Factory and Administration Offices will be closed on Monday 13 March 2017 because it is a public holiday in the ACT for Canberra Day. The eShop is open 24/7 so you can still place your orders online. The Mint Coin Shop and visitor areas will be open from 8.30 am until 5.00 pm.

There are many facts that you may not know about these bronze delights and to mark this anniversary we are sharing some with you - see below:
With Australia’s biggest horsepower party less than a month away, the Mint has made plans to join the action at the annual Street Machine Car Festival SUMMERNATS 30 next month.
Expected to be one of the Mint’s most popular New Year celebrations yet, collectors will have the opportunity to say goodbye to 2016 and welcome 2017 with the hotly-anticipated first and last coin of the year traditions.
The M. R. Roberts’ Wynyard Coin Centre is turning 50! After an impressive 47 years in the same location, Wynyard Coins will be moving shopfront and throwing an Open Day to celebrate!
Wynyard Coins are welcoming the public to enjoy show bags, discounted products and meet Stevan Stojanovic, Royal Australian Mint Coin Designer, in person.
The Royal Australian Mint would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday period. We would like to ensure that anyone visiting the Mint during this time is aware of the changes to free public tour times and opening hours. Please keep in mind that the factory will not be in production from Christmas Eve and will reopen on Wednesday 4 January 2017.
Join the Mint this December at the 2016 Summer Sizzler Sale! Purchase some treasured gifts at reduced prices, unearthed from the Mint's vault especially for the occasion.
